“Stuart has been helping out with the Adventure Travel Film Festival Australia for the last few years. From October to February he puts together posters, flyers and banners for the event as well as updating the website and social media sites to help sell tickets and make the whole thing a success. He has also helped us secure guest speakers like Paul Carter to make our program come alive.”

“I engaged Stuart Baulk to improve NASAA’s social media profile. When he was first engaged, NASAA had little or no use of Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Over the three years of our association, NASAA had over 30,000 Facebook likes, 1,000 plus Twitter followers and over 100 LinkedIn followers. Stuart’s expertise in managing these platforms, contributed significantly to our success in growing their effectiveness. I would recommend Stuart to you.”

Ben Copeman

General Manager, NASAA

Stuart was my supervisor during my honours degree (in Psychology) at the University of South Australia. Stuart was an excellent teacher and supervisor. His key strengths during this time were his ability to mentor and supervise in a caring and conscientious manner. Generally Honours degrees can be a stressful experience however under Stuart’s supervision my time was much less stressful than it otherwise could have been. I would not hesitate to recommend Stuart for any role or to potential clients. He has a great ability to be both task-focused and people focused to help others achieve their goals.

Professor David Kennaway

“Stuart proved to be invaluable in providing creative input, especially in coming up with left field ideas both for production and in problem solving. His ability to communicate within the team and to the broader audience was exemplary. The high quality of our output was clearly in part due to the high quality of Stuart’s input.”

“Sleeping Bear helped us to create a brand new online presence from start to finish in 2013, and we are growing all the time as a result. From getting a logo design, to securing a domain name and hosting, through to planning a photoshoot, collating the content, and finally developing the website design and making it happen. Stuart has helped us to raise our profile and connect with patients all across the Darwin area.”

Dr Subash Heraganahally

Stuart has used his excellent design and science communication skills to support my work on a number of research projects at CQUniversity. His work is about translating complex information for wide and varied audiences, and communicating through multiple channels to them. As well as assisting with social media platforms, Stuart has helped to attract survey respondents, engage with stakeholders and communicate results.

Stuart has many strings to his bow. From a background in sleep research and a love of music and film making he has nurtured his creative side and is now expressing it via web design. In a social setting we discussed our previous website (which I wasn’t  happy with) and without me having to ask, he looked at it, did his research and provided some ideas. After a more formal meeting we discussed them, I provided him with some material including photos and in just over a week we had a brilliant website which did everything I wanted it to do (not what a designer thought I wanted!). Check it out for yourself at www.vinumoz.com.au

I have known Stuart since 2003 when we worked together at UniSA. Stuart was one of the key people who assisted me with settling into my role with regard to IT and other support. Sometime later our paths crossed again at Integrated Safety Support, Stuart worked with clients in SA and nationally in the area of fatigue management and awareness. His creative talents were instrumental in the early development of the ISS website, and together with his knowledge of fatigue, Adam, Stuart and I were able to work together on the development of a training workbook. Stuart’s skills expanded to using Adobe InDesign which enabled him to put together these training resources in a professional and highly intuitive format. Stuart has a wonderful energy, is personable, and a great team member. He is a creative, a thinker, and infuses his roles and tasks with great spirit!

We engaged Stuart to research the impact of Fatigue on shift working in our business, his work was beneficial to the development of Fatigue Management guidelines & assisting us to develop suitable controls to manage fatigue. I found Stuart to be exceptionally professional and very skilled in his line of work, I would not hesitate in recommending Stuart to assist any business or organisation.

Stuart is a team player, technical all-rounder, and has an excellent understanding of research methods and issues in relation to the Rail Industry. I think his real talents are in creative science communication, and he seems to thrive on a new challenge with incredibly creative potential. At CQUniversity we worked together on a number of projects including a published Human Factors book cover, and a poster presentation which went on to win the best poster award from over 100 submissions. Both of have helped me share and promote my research and expertise to the next level. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
