Sleeping Bear is a small design studio based in Adelaide, South Australia, specialising in web design, e-learning design, and selected visual design support.
Founded by Stuart Baulk in 2012, Sleeping Bear works with businesses, educators, organisations, and creative projects to create digital experiences that are clear, practical, and professionally designed. The focus is on thoughtful communication, strong visual presentation, and work that helps people connect with the right audience.
Stuart brings together experience in design, psychology, research, communication, marketing, and business, with a background that includes qualifications in communication design and psychology, as well as years of work across consulting, research, teaching, and creative practice. That combination helps Sleeping Bear approach projects with both strategic thinking and creative problem-solving.
The aim is simple: to create work that looks good, works properly, and communicates clearly.
Today, Sleeping Bear works on a select range of projects including WordPress websites, online learning and training content, and supporting visual materials that help businesses and organisations present themselves clearly and confidently online.
